A bit more of

My Story

I've been supporting people experiencing pain and women during pregnancy and postpartum for over 14 years!

I became even more passionate about the pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience after birthing both of my kids. Both births were in hospital with interventions, that hindsight now shows me I might've chosen differently. I love and give myself grace for the choices I did make with the knowledge I had then. I hold no judgements about your birth choices. That is deeply personal to you. All stories are important, and I love listening to all of them, if you choose to share.

This passion has led me to learn more about C-section scar release, the 4th trimester, the physiology of birth and pregnancy and postpartum bodywork. My Kinesiology work ties in beautifully to this too as it can help release limiting beliefs, fears, shame and other stressors.

I care just as deeply about working with people experiencing longstanding pain. Witnessing someone transmute pain is incredible and I feel honoured to support people through it. My personal experiences with pain include pain with intimacy after the birth of my eldest child in 2018, which I was able to resolve through mind-body-spirit connection and emotional awareness, like what I now practice with Kinesiology. In early 2025, I fractured my fibula and experienced first-hand the mental and emotional toll that comes with physical injury.

I feel honoured to have supported so many people with a variety of chronic pain conditions during my career, including people with arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, paraplegia, multiple sclerosis, transverse myelitis, Parkinson's disease, muscle spasms after a stroke, frozen shoulder, old injuries, persistent aches and pains, and more.

I don't diagnose or cure. What I do is work with your whole self to restore flow, balance and your own natural capacity to thrive.

β€œJess is so gentle and kind. She is thorough and takes great care to create an environment that feels safe, secure and professional. Her knowledge and expertise is unquestionable and she was able to support me to uncover the answers and results that I had been unable to manage myself. I walked away with a new outlook, a manageable and actionable solution and a bounce in my step. Thankyou Jess.”
