Your C-Section Scar is Telling You Something

You grew and birthed a human. Your body did something extraordinary, and it carries the mark of that.

But maybe your scar feels numb, tight, or painful. Maybe you're experiencing back pain, hip pain, or digestive discomfort that nobody quite connects back to your birth. Maybe something feels emotionally unresolved, like a part of your story is still waiting to be acknowledged.

You're not imagining it. And you're not alone.

Your scar holds more than you might realise

From a physical perspective, c-section scar tissue can quietly affect a lot. Adhesions may limit organ movement and contribute to bloating, constipation or digestive discomfort. The muscles around your scar may not be activating as fully as they could, impacting movement and your ability to do a full 360 breath. You might notice numbness, tingling or hypersensitivity around the scar itself, or pain that seems to show up in unexpected places like your hips, ribs or lower back.

From a holistic perspective, scars hold emotions and memories too. The stress and experiences of your pregnancy, birth or even earlier in your life can be held in the body, sometimes consciously, sometimes quietly underneath the surface.

Scars tell stories. Integrating a scar into our wholeness can be a journey, and it's one you don't have to take alone.

How we work together

Through Kinesiology, your body will show us exactly what it needs through muscle testing and biofeedback. We work together to bring balance back, releasing what is no longer needed, processing what's been held, and supporting your scar to soften and integrate.

Through Myotherapy, we explore movement and fascial restrictions near your scar, your diaphragm, your back and hips. I will only ever work directly on your scar if and when you feel ready. There is no rush.

Together, these two modalities create a gentle, heartful space for your scar to unwind, let go of bracing, and begin to release.

What you might notice

As your scar begins to integrate, you may experience:

🌸 Increased range of motion and ease of breath

🌸 Decreased aches, pains and tension

🌸 Improved digestion and reduced bloating

🌸 Reduced pain during sex and improved libido

🌸 Improved incontinence and prolapse symptoms

🌸 Improved menstrual cycle and fertility

🌸 A deeper sense of wholeness and self-connection

When can we start?

Kinesiology can begin as soon as you feel ready after your birth. Myotherapy can begin after 8 weeks with medical clearance, or after 12 weeks with no clearance required.

And if your scar is years old, that's okay too. There is no time limit on this work. It is never too late.

You deserve to feel whole

If any of this is resonating , if your body has been quietly asking for something - I'd love to support you.

Sessions are held on Saturdays. I'd love to hear your story.
